Executive Bio
I have always felt practicing medicine to be a sacred vocation, an extension of my faith, in which patients and their families have entrusted me to care for the people they hold dearest. My position as a neurologist allows me to do that in a meaningful and comprehensive way – focusing not just on individual people, but the communities they come from.
As a Sci-Fi junky, neurology represents the final frontier and studying the brain requires an in-depth appreciation of technology, physical subtleties, and the un-known. Although I love all of neurology, I am particularly interested in stroke and epilepsy, the latter of which I have additional training. You will mostly see me in the inpatient setting (i.e. hospital) given my addiction to the at times fast paced and variable nature of a typical day.
My philosophy is to treat patients the way you would want yourself or a family member to be treated. Communication is critical to this goal. No matter how long the day has been, I try to listen and learn and develop as a physician knowing that lives depend on it. I want my patients and their families to know they are in good hands, because I care, and I will fight for them even when it’s inconvenient.

Hobbies and Interests
I have to stay physically active in order to stay sane, so currently that involves CrossFit workouts and walking with my wife and kids. We also love to travel and music. Our household listens to a little bit of everything although you will likely hear Afrobeat’s, Caribbean, or Rhythm & Blues if you walked in. My wife and I also love Latin dancing such as Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue.
